Crowne Plaza Los Cabos Review

We can't say enough great things about this resort.

We flew from Toronto, Ontario with SunWing vacations and were very pleased with the service they provided.

The flight itself was nearly 6 hours due to a strong head wind, but the onboard staff made the flight for us as comfortable as possible.

With free snacks, soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, a glass of champagne and wine with our hot meal, we sat back and enjoyed 3 onboard movies.

Once we arrived at the Los Cabos airport, we were fairly tired and anxious to get to the resort.

One thing to note is that the Crowne Plaza is actually in San Jose (about 20 mins from the airport), not in Los Cabos.

San Jose is a much quieter area than Los Cabos, which was just what we were looking for on our family vacation.

Getting through customs was quick enough with our passports.

Getting through the airport itself to our SunWing bus  was another story!

Many timeshare representatives are waiting for you to come through the customs doors, where they will spring themselves on you and may lead you to believe that they are your representative.

Just say "No thanks" and keep walking until you get outside, as THAT is where your representatives will be.

When we got outside the airport, it was very easy to see our representative who was holding a SunWing card.  She directed us to a Greyhound sized bus.

This was a nice change from some of the other smaller min-buses that we've had to cram into on other vacations.

This bus was air conditioned, with comfortable over sized seats and large picture windows.   This made for great site seeing on the way to the resort.

Upon arrival at the Crowne Plaza Los Cabos All-Inclusive resort, we headed to the lobby area where other guests were checking in as well. 

Waiters were walking around serving complimentary margaritas for the adults and soft drinks for the kids.  This made waiting in line to check-in a little more pleasant.

Check in itself was fast and front desk staff were pleasant.

Before we left for vacation, or booked our trip for that matter, we called ahead and spoke to the front desk manager who assured us that if we booked we would be able to get a 2 non-smoking adjoining rooms.

I was a little worried about this as many all-inclusive resorts give you what they have on hand, but to our surprise everything was available as promised.

As soon as we received our room keys, the bell boy approached us with our luggage already loaded on the cart and gave us a much appreciated informative tour on the way to our rooms.
