Single Parents Travel To Mexico With Children

Important information for single parents travel to Mexico with children.

Mexico is full of wonderful opportunities for your kids.
But bear in mind, if you are traveling with your children to Mexico and you are without your partner or are a single parent you MUST get written notarized permission to bring a child into Mexico from the parent who will not be present.

Mexico enforces this law to prevent parents from abducting their children and moving to Mexico where it becomes more difficult to take legal action to have the children returned.

If the child's other parent is deceased then draft a letter explaining the situation and make a copy of the death certificate.

Have both these documents notarized and carry them with you at all times during your trip in Mexico.

If you are the child's legal guardian and are estranged from your partner or spouse, bring the original copy of the court order with you.
